ES Kigoma beat us last weekend and we can’t afford losing twice against them,” head coach Anaclet Bagirishya said.He added, "We didn’t have enough training before taking part in the Liberation tourney and that’s why we performed badly. We have rectified whatever went wrong. We are set for a good show this weekend,”Bagirishya further added that they will start thinking about retaining the title if they win all the remaining league matches.Kigoma beat Police 27-26 last weekend in the liberation day tournament which was lifted by Gicumbi.Police is eyeing the local handball league title a third time following 2011 and 2012 success.Both Police and Gicumbi jointly lead the standings with 21 points but the cops team has a superior goal difference of 7 goals.In other matches due this afternoon, APR takes on Nyakabanda at Kimisagara youth center while Rambura hosts Rubavu’s Police handball team.Gicumbi handball club are resting this weekend. ES Kigoma and APR stand third and fourth with 19 and 17 points respectively.
