She and her family moved to Canada 23 years ago but her roots are deeply embedded in East African soil, with inspiration from R&B, pop, soul and funk. Tony OsanahThe multi-instrumentalist Tony OSANAH is an Argentine of Calchaqui origin who, in 1966 moved to Sao Paolo (Brazil) with the group "Beat Boys”. In 1976 he co-organised Joe Cocker’s Brazilian tour, and two years later toured with his own Blues Band through the U.S.A. Tony Osanah performed with B.B. King, went on a world tour with the legendary Blues singer Jeannie Carrol and studied Indian music. He gave concerts with famous South American musicians like Gilberto Gil, Roberto Carlos, Raul Seixas, Walter Franco, Tim Maia und Caetano Veloso. Multi-talent Tony Osanah plays the guitar, bass, kalimba, sitar, flutes and harmonica.
