PEHA International School, a thriving Early Children School located in the heart of Kicukiro District, adjacent to Simba Supermarket, has already made a remarkable impact since its inception this year.
In its very first year, the school has already garnered a reputation as a cherished home for numerous children attending pre-primary and nursery levels. The outstanding quality of education at PEHA, coupled with its reputation, has led to a growing demand from parents for the establishment of primary one and two classes.
This remarkable response from the community is a testament to the trust and confidence parents place in PEHA International School as an exceptional educational institution for their children.
At PEHA, students benefit from the renowned Cambridge program, delivered by bilingual facilitators proficient in both English and French. These skilled educators not only ensure academic excellence but also enrich the learning experience through a variety of extracurricular activities such as Taekwondo, dancing, cooking, and more.
The school is currently running a delightful summer camp, welcoming not only its own students but also children from other schools. The program, which began on July 10, will continue until August 25, providing an excellent opportunity for kids to participate in and enjoy a host of activities during their summer break.
According to the school administration, the children are their top priority, and they are committed to providing them with a high-quality education while fostering a playful and interactive learning environment. PEHA boasts a well-equipped facility with a wide range of toys that serve the dual purpose of facilitating learning and encouraging play. This unique approach ensures that children not only gain knowledge but also relish the process of learning, creating an atmosphere conducive to their complete development.
In an interview with The New Times, Shmsa Ajja, the Executive Assistant of PEHA International School, emphasized the school's commitment to creating a friendly and nurturing environment for its students. She strongly encourages parents to enroll their children in the upcoming academic year to ensure they receive the best educational experience during their early years.
Ajja highlighted the school's exceptional focus on utilizing knowledge to foster creativity within extracurricular activities. PEHA not only engages students in their academic pursuits but also encourages their involvement in various other activities beyond the standard offerings. This emphasis on inspiring students to create something unique and participate in diverse experiences sets PEHA apart from other schools.
Moreover, PEHA International School provides three nutritious meals a day and pays particular attention to catering to the needs of individual students.
"Over the summer camp, in addition to our regular program, we provide breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks as well,” said Ajja.
She added that the ongoing summer camp offers a diverse range of programs, including modern and traditional dancing classes, a captivating book club aimed at promoting reading and storytelling, and an exciting cooking experience featuring African, Italian, and French cuisines. Additionally, the camp includes invigorating Taekwondo classes.
The camp is open to children aged between two and 12 years old.
Regarding registration fees, Ajja underlined that the daily rate is Rwf 10,000, while the weekly rate amounts to Rwf 50,000. Notably, parents with three kids can take advantage of a special promotion: they need to pay for only two children, and the registration fee for the third child will be waived.
