Rwanda cycling national team rider Janvier Hadi has returned to his Team UCI Continental Centre and he was joined by teammate Bonaventure Uwizeyimana, who will be training at the World Cycling Centre.The two Rubavu-based Benediction Cycling Club riders left the country for South Africa on Friday.Twenty-year-old Uwizeyimana, who heads to South Africa for the second time, last month trained in Tanzania at the World Cycling Center Africa.Following the success of Adrien Niyonshuti (MTN Qhubeka), Hadi becomes the second Rwandan rider to turn professional after agreeing to sign for South Africa based UCI Continental Center in January 2013; he also trained in Tanzania for three weeks.The 20-year-old will follow in the footsteps of Team Rwanda skipper Niyonshuti, who was the first Rwandan to go pro in 2009 after securing a professional contract with Team MTN Energade.According to an official at the Rwanda Cycling Federation, the initiative to take more Rwandan riders to train at world class facilities is aimed at helping them gain more skills as well as exposure to the highest level competition.
