Editor,This is in reference to the opinion, "1990-2013: Fruits of the Liberation Struggle”, by Pierre Damien Habumuremyi, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Rwanda, published in The New Times’ edition of July 4 on the occasion of Rwanda’s 19th Liberation Day anniversary. After reading this comprehensive and well-thought opinion, I found out that it contains a precise message that all Rwandans should refer to to better know the tyrannical regime we came from to the brighter future the new Rwanda is heading to. This is the reason why I’m proposing that this educative opinion be universally aired on Radio and published in numerous newspapers across the country for fellow citizens who can’t read and those who don’t speak English. It’ll immensely help them understand patriotism.I wish to urge concerned authorities and the Ministry of Education to relay this message in schools in order to inspire a sense of duty and responsibility on their part to own the future of this nation by embracing the legacy of selflessness and patriotism demonstrated by those who liberated this country from the jaws of dictatorship.I would want to see essay competitions, and debates held in schools around the same topic in future because this is a crucial part of our history. There are many to learn from this opinion.  Chaz N Karisimbi, Kanombe, Rwanda****************************Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and success of liberty. And to those brave women and men who made this day happen, you made us proud, you gave us another chance to believe. Thank you and God bless you for the courage you showed and the sacrifices you made to our country.Mugisha, Kampala,Uganda
