Former APR striker Emmanuel ‘Crespo’ Sebanani has joined Police from Mukura Victory Sports, while 13-time league champions APR have signed U20 goalie Olivier Kwizera form the relegated side Isonga. Both players penned two-year deals.Sebanani’s deal runs until the end of 2015 for an undisclosed fee.Recently, Police FC signed Ugandan coach Sam Ssimbwa on a two-year contract to replace Goran Kopunovic."I am going to do all my best to help my team make a difference, the time I have lost is a lot and I want to come back in football and enjoy myself, and I am ready for the challenge,” said the former Amavubi U20 striker.He added, "I think Police are a top team, I haven’t played much in Mukura but in Police I think I will do all my best to be on my top and hope I will get the chance to play I need to be playing regularly.”Last season, Mukura suspended Sebanani aka Crespo for up to four months on disciplinary grounds.It was not the first time the temperamental striker was suspended in December 2011, APR suspended him due to indiscipline, and later the 23-year old joined local Hip-Hop star Jay Polly and Kiyovu right back Djuma Niyonkuru Radju to release a single "Umukino Nyawo”.Keeper Kwizera joins APRAPR Spokesperson George Gatete confirmed the signing of the custodian. "We have signed him. He is a young keeper with so much potential to become a top player.”Kwizera will be fighting for first place with experienced goalies, Jean Claude Ndoli and Jean-Luc Ndayishimye.Recently the army side beefed up their squad by signing three new players ahead of the upcoming 2013/2014 season, which is scheduled to kick off in September.APR signed Amavubi Stars’ winger Charles Tibingana Mwesigye from Victoria University (Uganda), midfielder Ernest Sugira from AS Muhanga and striker Michel Fils Ndahinduka from second division side Bugesera FC, all on two-year deals.
