Rwanda Itagengwa is a bland song lacking the usual aroma and savor that comes with Intore Masamba’s music. If you have listened to some of Masamba’s hottest songs such as Agasaza, Araje or Mama Shenge, then you know what I am talking about. Rwanda Itagengwa sounds so dry and scorching like desert sand. Masamba seemed to stretch his voice and hike his soft voice, losing his midas touch in the process. And even though the song is laden with constructive messages, this is a kind of song one wouldn’t want to listen to more than once. Although the massage in the song is constructive, this is the kind of song one listen to once and never wish to listen to unless in a taxi or hair salon where they’ve got little option.
