Direct Aid - Africa Muslim Agency has donated an assortment of items  worth Euro25,000 (about Rwf22m) to selected beneficiaries from the City of Kigali and Eastern Province.The organisation donated 30 cows and 100 sewing machines, with the latter to benefit women associations in select communities, on Tuesday.Other items include wheelchairs for the disabled persons."We are concerned with the most vulnerable groups such as orphans and women living in poverty. We will continue extending our assistance to such people,” said Direct Aid-AMA country director, Bassam Al-Metwali.The deputy Mufti of Rwanda, Sheikh Jumatatu Nsengiyumva,  called upon the beneficiaries to use the donation to fight poverty.The beneficiaries were also given Rwf100,000 each and veterinary drugs.
