Shiva on form ahead of Computer Point T20 final

Last weekend saw history repeat itself as Telugu CC beat Indorwa CC in the 2013 Computer Point T20 semi finals. Good batting by Shiva Samba, 88 runs and Kotni Mallikarjun 73 runs not out ensured TCC post a huge score of 188/1.

Last weekend saw history repeat itself as Telugu CC beat Indorwa CC in the 2013 Computer Point T20 semi finals. Good batting by Shiva Samba, 88 runs and Kotni Mallikarjun 73 runs not out ensured TCC post a huge score of 188/1. The dual were on fire as they amassed runs easily without a lot of challenge from Indorwa bowlers.  Indorwa captain Mihir Solanki started the chase in high gear with four fours in the first over but was later bowled by TCC swing bowler Srinivas Reddy.Eric Dusabemungu’s 58 couldn’t save them as all the other batsmen didn’t do much. For those who watched the game TCC displayed an all round performance to win the game by 26 runs. TCC are now scheduled to play in the Computer Point T20 final against Challengers CC, who easily got past Kigali CC in their semi finals clash.In the Computer Point T20 women’s tournament, Queens of Victory CC secured their place in the final after thrashing Charity CC by 89 runs. Talented youngster Josee Muhoza scored her career best of 74 runs and also took 3 wickets to claim the woman of the match. White Clouds CC may be entering the final on the back of the only unbeaten run in the tournament but captain Rita Nzaramba insisted she was taking nothing for granted ahead of the Computer Point T20 clash with QVCC on Sunday. The Computer Point T20 tournament will come to an end on Sunday with the women and men’s final. The closing ceremony to crown up the tournament will be graced by the Computer Point Managing Director Binu Tharian Thomas.
