National University of Rwanda registered the biggest win of the season after flogging Union 6-0 at the weekend.
Pacific Ndabariize masterminded the varsity side’s scoring prowess with 4 goals, three of which were scored in the first half.
Colonei mMrwanashyaka and Steven Gakuru were also on target for the butare based side.
After the game, NUR’s head coach Gervain Manirakiza credited his side for a job well done.
The victory took NUR six points clear of La jeunesse who had dropped points after a 1-1 draw against Nyanza. In Group B, leaders Muhanga progressed to the quarter-finals after a 5-2 win over Interforce.
Zebra also qualified to the quarters after a 2-1 win against Etoil de leste.
