FRENCH coach Didier Gomez da Rosa is optimistic Rayon Sports has the ability to register a win against Ugandan former champions Express in the second Group B game this afternoon at Al Nuggaa stadium.Al Nugga stadium is right inside the central business district and near the main market and can accomodate up to 8000 fans.Speaking to Saturday Sport on Thursday, Gomez was in a bouyant mood after his side played out an entertaining 3-all draw against Elect Sport of Chad in their opening match of the tournament on Thursday.Abouba Sibomana, Kambale Salita and Cedric Amissi scored the goals for the Blues and are now tied on one point with Elect Sport, Express and Ports of Somalia in Group B."I am confident my team will win the next game to book a spot in the quarter-finals. We failed to win the opening game but we take the point for our efforts."Following the arrival of Amissi, Faustin Usegimana and Leandre Sekamana, am convinced, we can win our next game against Express FC,” added the Frenchman, who won the Rwandan league title in first season with Rayon Sports.Rayon know they need to win to boost their hopes of reaching the next round, especially after realising that archrivals APR have at last one foot in the last eight following their 1-1 draw with host side El Merreikh El Fasher yesterday. The home team took the lead in the 58th minute through striker David Nwosou before Hegman Ngoma netted the crucial equaliser in the 66th minute, for his second goal of the tournament. In other matches due this afternoon, Elect Sport will face Ports of Somalia in another decisive match whose winner will march into the last eight. Ports are anchored by players from Rwanda, Cameroon, Uganda, Somalia and West Africa. Among the Rwandan players in the Ports team are veterans such as Jean Bosco Gasana, Yahaya Serubungo, Jean Paul Niyibabarira, Frank Enyme Epee, Fabrice Rwambona, and Gilbert Christian, which gives Ports a complete foreign look.In Kadougli, Al Ahly and Al Hilal will be battling for a quarter final slot but qualification from this group which is comprised of three teams may be decided on a coin tossing if all the teams finish on three points and same goal difference.Al Hilal Kadougli will be looking for its maiden win in the competition against home side. Al Hilal lost the opening game against Uganda Revenue Authority 1-0 before Al Ahly Shandy won their contest against URA on Thursday with a 1-0 win.  So if Al Hilal beat Ahly Shandy by a 1-0, quarter-finalists will be decided on a coin tossing since all teams will be having three points.
