The institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR) has started a project that will help make professional training relevant to the local market demands.ICPAR president Francis Mugisha said the body would tailor training courses in tax administration, auditing, public accounting and financial management, among others, to the needs of the market they serve.He added that this move was part of the grand plan to make ICPAR a model institute in Africa.Mugisha, who was speaking at the 2013/14 budget breakfast meeting organised by Ernst & Young recently, urged employers to sponsor their workers to undrertake professional training to improve skills.
