The Up Town Sundays, a weekly event, in collaboration with Friends & Barbecue, has invited Atlanta based Kenyan disc Jockey Fully Focus to headline the 'Up Town Sundays and Friends & Barbecue Bash' slated for Sunday, July 30.
The event will also see homegrown deejays like DJ Julz, Selecta Compain, DJ Benjah and Nep DJs spin the decks, with renowned Chef Issa grilling all types of 'NyamaChoma' at the venue.
It will be Friends & Barbecue’s fifth edition since it was initiated in July 2022 by the Climax Business Group LTD.
According to Berto, one of the organisers of the event and member of the Nep DJs duo, Up Town Sundays is an event that has just started attracting many Kigalians and partnering with Friends & Barbecue in its next edition is a way of turning it into one of the biggest summer parties in town.
"People are slowly falling in love with the theme of Up Town Sundays event and we are happy to be partnering with Friends & Barbecue because Nyama Choma is at the center of our show. We are looking up to giving all of our fans a lifetime experience and we can't wait to share what we have in store with everyone,” said Berto.
Another thing, he noted, the event offers different fun activities such as pool table games, live cocktails and other drinking games that keep revelers entertained.
Up Town Sundays and Friends & Barbecue Bash will take place at Indera with Rwf10, 000 admission. Gates will be open at 11:00am.
