Akilah Institute is doing a great work in empowering the Rwandan women. The New Times /File.

Editor,This is in reference to your article published in June 12’s edition of The New Times, entitled "Akilah Institute to open campus in Bugesera”.Kudos to Elizabeth Dearborn-Hughes, Co-Founder and CEO of Akilah Institute for Women, and her dynamic team for empowering the women of Rwanda and neighbouring Burundi with their two new campuses in Bugesera and Bujumbura and giving these young ladies a job-oriented training and an exciting career to look forward to. Having been invited as a guest speaker to the existing campus of Akilah Institute in Kigali, on one of my visits to the city, it is with confidence that I can endorse the high standards that are maintained by the Akilah Institute. It is no wonder, therefore, that all their students find suitable placements in the hospitality industry. Wishing Akilah Institute every success in their quest for excellence!Clarence Fernandes, Kigali, Rwanda
