Editor,Thank you for this very informative story. I say it’s "better late than never”. Cultural heritage sites throughout the country offer unique and rich opportunities in traditional context. One thing that we need to bear in mind as Rwandans is to know and understand what a cultural heritage is all about, what it constitutes, what are the dangers if not preserved/conserved, and who is going to bear responsibilities.Cultural heritage is unique and irreplaceable, and this automatically places the responsibility to preserve on current generation. These are valuable references and historical memory of a community. When cultural heritage is destroyed, it affects the world’s contemporary heritage too. More dignity will be reflected upon when we uphold and get to know about our cultural heritage.
