A two-day symposium organised by the Rwanda Defence Forces Command and Staff College ended today at the Musanze based college in Nyakinama.

The Symposium aimed at enhancing the National Security understanding of RDF officers completing a Senior Command and Staff Course this month attracted important personalities and researchers who discussed different topics.  

It was conducted under the theme: "National Security Symposium on Contemporary Security Challenges: African Perspective. The participants were briefed on the implications of defence management on policy to capability in a developing country, by Defence Minister, James Kabarebe.

The second presentation was "Revolutionising Institutions to address National and Regional Security dynamics, by the RDF Chief of Defence Staff, Lt. Gen. Charles Kayonga.
