Surely with energetic and beautiful performances by Inganzo Ngari at Rwanda Workforce Development Authority (WDA) on Monday, guests must have left the venue in good spirits.

The group comprising 20 male and female dancers, thrilled guests at the gala dinner, as they exhibited the rich cultural heritage of Rwanda during their performances. 

The traditional dance was highly choreographed, showing every bit of cultural appeal. At some point, the energy exhibited, the costume, rhythm, the movement show that the country is really rich in terms of culture and tradition. 

You cannot take it away from the Inganzo Ngari, the expression on their faces portrayed seriousness of doing what they love.

Dressed in the traditional attire Umushanana for women, the dancers connected with the drummers, who beat the drum extensively. The cultural troupe had a great time entertaining the guests. 

At first, only a few stood shyly to participate, but soon Inganzo Ngari’s energetic fervor and raw enthusiasm had many guests on their feet. 

The performances started at 7pm with traditional dance performances and a dinner thereafter. In attendance were 130 scholars of tourism from different countries, including Malawi, Kenya, Zambia, Uganda, South Africa and Tanzania, among others. 

Rwanda is hosting the event for the first time and the three-day seminar started on June 3 and ends today. The 8th edition of the Association of Tourism and Leisure School (ATLAS) is organised by Rwanda Tourism University College (RTUC).

Callixte Kabera, the rector of RTUC, commended participated for attending the event. He also applauded Inganzo Ngari dance troupe for the performances.

ATLAS is an association that brings together institutions from all over the world involved in training and research in the leisure, tourism and hospitality.
