Forward Youssef Rharb has said that he never hesitated about a return to Rayon Sports when the club came calling and insists he has made the best choice
The Moroccan youngster enjoyed a short loan spell with the Blues from parent club Raja Casablanca in 2021 before but his one-year loan deal was cut short as his relationship with the club deteriorated, prompting Rayon to send him back to Raja after just three four months.
The club has, however, been monitoring his situation since his departure and tried all they could to lure him back to their ranks for a second spell, as the club continues major rebuild ahead of the new season.
Youssef told journalists, upon arrival on Sunday evening, that he never hesitated to accept the deal when Rayon came calling as he looks to put the past behind him and start a new chapter with the club which he agreed to play on a one-year deal.
"I am happy to be back at rayon Sports. I want to help Rayon Sports win as many games as possible. They have given me what I needed and I believe I made the best choice. I hope to further develop my career and also have the opportunity to play in the CAF Confederation Cup,” Youssef said

"I believe I am capable of helping the club to continue going forward, move to another level. I want to do well in all competitions with the club especially in Africa,” he added
During his first spell, Youssef orchestrated an attacking spark that saw him become a defenders' nightmare with his eye-catching dribbles and passes. Rayon had since become a fearsome force right after the youngster formed a formidable partnership with former striker Leandre Willy Onana who is now at Simba SC.
Yousseff is one of eight new signings that Rayon has made during the current transfer window. Others include Charles Baale and Simon Tamale from Uganda, Rwandans Ali Serumogo, Hakim Bugingo and Aimable Nsabimana, Congolese Jonathan Ifunga Ifasso as well as Burundian Aruna Moussa Madjaliwa.
They will be officially unveiled before the supporters during the club’s presentation ceremony slated for August 5 at Kigali Pele Stadium.
