Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has further fuelled speculation that Tottenham’s Gareth Bale is to join the Spanish giants by saying that the star "was born to play” for the club.Bale was identified by Perez as a "good signing for the club”, and the 23-year-old’s future at White Hart Lane is very much in doubt with three Premier League clubs also reportedly in pursuit of his signature."Gareth Bale was born to play in Madrid,” Perez told Cadena Cope. The Welshman scored 21 Premier League goals in an outstanding season as Spurs narrowly missed out on qualification for the Champions League, but there have also been reports that he could sign a new £130,000-a-week deal with the London club.Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata added his voice, declaring Bale "one of the best players in the world”, backing him to be a huge success story if he moves to Spain.Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett has admitted that the forward would have to consider a serious bid from the nine-times European champions if a genuine offer presents itself."He would be a good signing for the club,” he told Marca. "Bale is one of the best players in the world and at Real Madrid we always have the best. I am convinced that if the club want him he would be a great signing.”Real Madrid director of football Zinedine Zidane last week put the Wales international in the same category of La Liga stars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo."I have been watching Tottenham for the very reason that Bale has been playing,” he said. "Aside from Ronaldo and Messi, who are the top players, I must admit that he is the footballer who impressed me most.”
