THE Cycling National team riders, UCI Cycling Centre-based Janvier Hadi and Bonaventure Uwizeyimana of Benediction Club are in Tanzania for the “Talent Identification Camp”. The World Cycling Center Africa’s initiative started this week and is expected to end on June 2.
THE Cycling National team riders, UCI Cycling Centre-based Janvier Hadi and Bonaventure Uwizeyimana of Benediction Club are in Tanzania for the "Talent Identification Camp”. The World Cycling Center Africa’s initiative started this week and is expected to end on June 2.
The Rwanda Cycling Federation believes this is a good initiative because it will help our riders to gain more skills as well as a good methodology of promoting riders in Africa. The training is taking place in Babati District, which is a small town of Manyara region in Tanzania. It is the administrative capital of Manyara Region. Meanwhile, the Criterium de Rwamagana competition due on Sunday will attract 50 local riders from Rwanda and twelve riders from Burundi and Uganda.Local clubs expected to take part in the competition include; Benediction Club, Rapide, Satellite, Les Amis Sportifs, Fly Club, Cycling Club for All, Kiramuruzi Cycling team, Cine Elmay and Abahizi.After the competition, the Adrien Niyonshuti Cycling Academy will officially be opened.
