Editor,You’ve pointed out a very serious issue that directly concerns the wellbeing of our children. As written in the article, children can develop long term health issues. This has been the case with members of my family. There is need for health inspectors who regularly go to school kitchens like they do for restaurants, and ensure that the place is clean and the food is not contaminated. They should also make sure that the served food is rich in nutrients, but at the same time well balanced, because healthy food is needed to grow healthy brains and bodies.
