Last weekend I decided to add to my already existing boredom hours of old episodes of One Tree Hill. Now, I’m guessing some of you do not know it and its okay. I won’t bore you with details of its plot either. However, one thing really left my mind a little bit troubled.
Last weekend I decided to add to my already existing boredom hours of old episodes of One Tree Hill. Now, I’m guessing some of you do not know it and its okay. I won’t bore you with details of its plot either. However, one thing really left my mind a little bit troubled. Some chick decided that the right time to call it quits with her fiancé was at the altar. Right in the middle of their vows, she recalled something the guy had written in a book that hinted he was in love with another woman. I can forgive her for putting the pieces together at the worst moment (things happen) or for even being that slow and not figuring it out the first time she read the book. However, when he chased her and found her home, she was reading the book again and when the poor guy tried to tell her it was just a story, she sobbed and said it wasn’t THEIR story. So, was he supposed to write a book about a woman he hasn’t even met just in case she one day accuses him of writing a story about another woman? I’m confused. Also, when he told her how much he loved her, she claimed she loved him too but apparently it takes more than love to make a marriage work. Women baffle me. They sit around waiting for that guy who will love them more than life itself then when they get him they say idiotic things like it’s not about love. Sure, love won’t put food on the table but what happened to, as long as I am with you, I don’t need anything?Unlike some societies that think of passionate love as a nuisance that can undermine sound reasoning about whom and when to marry, passion is our truest lead. Without passion, you have nothing – and it doesn’t matter if you both make sports stadiums of money!I used to frown every time a guy said women don’t know what they want because I’m certain I know what I want. However, it is moments like these when that statement makes serious sense. I don’t understand how you say you want something and then when you get it, you change your mind and want more! Isn’t that just being greedy?Women want too much, it’s quite annoying actually. My friend, who wants the love crazy dude, is still on her man hunt. 100 grand says that if and when she gets him, she’ll still complain and say he either doesn’t love her enough or he loves her too much! And here I was thinking no such thing existed!
