Primus Football National League champions Rayon Sports will receive their trophy after the final match of the season against Espoir FC on Saturday preferably at Amahoro National Stadium.
Rayon won the 2012/2013 season title last week for their first league success in nine years and the seventh in the club’s history.
According to the Rwanda Football Federation Secretary General, Michel Gasingwa, the champions will be officially crowned on Saturday.
"We are still yet to decide the venue for their (Rayon Sports) final but it has been confirmed that the Primus league champions will receive the trophy on Saturday,” he said.
On the last day of the league season, Rayon Sports will host Western Province side Espoir. Initially, the game was scheduled to be played in Muhanga but that could change due to the Blues’ demand, to have their big day at Amahoro National Stadium.
Second-placed Police FC will be up against ASKigali at Kicukiro turf, while in the battle to avoid relegation; lowly Marines host mid table side La Jeunesse at Umuganda stadium.
Thirteen –time league winners APR will meet struggling Etincelles at Stade de Kigali, Nyamirambo, while already relegated Isonga FC will play against Muhanga.
Marines (21 points) will need only point to stay in league and if Etincelles (18 points) lose to APR but a win for Etincelles and defeat for Marines will see them in drop to the second division.
