Over 40 youths were trained in how they can write good and effective CVs before applying for jobs by Akazi Kanoze project. The project’s communication officer, Mikerlange Remplait said, "A good CV is clear, concise and makes every point necessary without waffling.

You don’t need pages and pages of paper you just keep things short and sweet. Create a unique CV for every job you apply for. You don’t have to re-write the whole thing, just adapt the details so they’re relevant.”According to Ishimwe Muhumuza, a systems officer at Akazi Kanoze project, it is crucial to review your CV on a regular basis and add any new skills or experiences that are missing. For example, if you have just done some volunteering or worked on a new project, make sure that is included as well. One of the youth, Nyaminga Oliva, said she was completely unaware of what companies or different business people really need in CVs. "This training helped me word and format my professional CV and the examples were extremely useful. I would highly recommend these services and I thank the Akazi kanoze project.”
