A night fire has ravaged buildings at the Ruhango-based Ecole des Sciences de Byimana barely a month after the school’s male dormitory was razed down in an inferno which broke out late in April.

The fire, which started shortly before 8pm on Monday, destroyed another dormitory, chapel and kitchen.

Property, including students’ materials and beds, were destroyed in the inferno but no student was hurt.

Last month, fire gutted a male dormitory at the school forcing over 400 students to return home a day after they had reported to school for the second trimester.

More to come...
