Sony world has promised state-of-the-art technology in Rwanda.Having officially opened shop in Kigali in February this year, Sony World plans to expand its state-of-the-art showroom to satisfy its growing clientele.The first Sony World showroom of its kind in East Africa deals in original products imported directly to Rwanda, with guarantee and warranty at affordable prices.The multinational Sony World brands include HD and 3D TV sets, home theatres, car stereos, projectors, as well as accessories such as cameras, camcorders, PlayStation, Ipods and computers.Some of the products with latest technology include the 55 inch 3D smart television set, whereas its most selling products include the 55-inch and 60-inch LED TV sets and the camcorder with projector combo."Rwanda is one of the fastest-growing economies in the world, Sony World needed to have its presence felt in order to tap into the country’s vibrant and emerging consumer market. "Our target is to provide original Sony products with a wide range and variety to the satisfaction of our clients all over the world,” Salim Abdulgani, the country manager of Salute Rwanda, which represents Sony World in Rwanda, said.The company plans to have a good share of the market by 2014. It hopes to achieve this by selling gadgets with the latest technology that is attractive to Rwandan consumers."Shortly we shall open up a back-up service centre that will cater for the needs of our clients. "The best Sony World brands in East Africa will be on display here in Rwanda,” Abdulgani (pictured, below), added.As its clientele grows by the day, Sony World will also seek to introduce new products such as the latest mobile phones and communication equipment.
