Rayon enters into partnership with Bundesliga side Augsburg

Newly crowned Rwandan league champions Rayon Sports have entered into partnership with Bundesliga first division Augsburg and German company Mamisch Dental Health for an initial two-year period.

Newly crowned Rwandan league champions Rayon Sports have entered into partnership with Bundesliga first division Augsburg and German company Mamisch Dental Health for an initial two-year period.The development was confirmed by Rayon Sports chairman, who is also the Mayor of Nyanza, Abdallah Murenzi on Friday. According to Murenzi, Augsburg will provide them with "between 50 and 100 balls each year”, four sets of jersey, other related equipment as well as offering technical assistance, while Mamisch Dental Health will provide financial support."We have agreed with Augsburg and the deal will start next year, but for Mamisch Dental Health, we are also in negotiations because we need more money to improve the team for the coming seasons,” Murenzi told Times Sport.He added, "Their contribution will help the development of the club. We have made a good deal with Augsburg and although it’s only for two years, we can extend when in expires depending on how the first one works out for both parties. We hope it will be a successful partnership.”"The Mamisch Dental Health will sponsor us financially but we are still in negotiations but we have high hopes that everything will be sorted out sooner than later,” he said.Last Wednesday, Rayon Sports won their seventh league title, and the first in nine years end APR’s dominance.
