They are considered among the most promising upcoming female musicians with one taking the afrobeat scene by storm and the other venturing into the Hip-hop world mostly dominated by male rappers.Yvonne Mugemana, known by the stage name Queen Cha and Hip-hop artiste Grace Abayizera commonly known Young Grace have released a new song titled, Farsel, in which they urge young men to keep one lover and be faithfull.The song which is a mixture of afrobeat and hip hop warns young men who have developed a habit of having more than one lover and the implications of being unfaithful to the person you love, which may include breaking up and pain.According to the 19-year-old rapper and last year’s Primus Guma Guma Superstar (PGGSS) contestant, the song is based on a true story but she does not reveal whether it is about her personal experience or someone else."Basically the song is about unfaithful men who pretend to love someone and then keep lying to their lovers until one day they find out the truth. I am the one who wrote this song,” Young Grace told The New Times.Queen Cha on the other hand provides the well-fitting breaks in between the rapping as well as the chorus. The two singers however say that the habit is not restricted to men alone but also some girls have been found to have more than one lover.The song which came out this week was produced by Emma B from Super Level studio. The 19-year-old rapper who was not selected for this year’s PGGSS says the song is one of the many projects she is working on before launching an album later this year.Queen Cha on the other hand has outed a new single dubbed, Isiri, which also came out this week. The National University of Rwanda (NUR) student is currently on a holiday break to focus on music. The ‘Ibisumizi’ Studio member is seen as Rwanda most promising female musicians to watch since releasing her breakaway singles ‘Windekura’ and ‘Umwe rukumbi’. The 22-year-old has gone on to release few more hits that have quickly turned her into a household name.
