FRENCH coach Didier Gomez da Rosa has said that guiding Rayon Sports to its first league title since 2004 was the greatest moment of his life.Speaking to Saturday Sport on Thursday, Gomez said, "I regard Wednesday, May 15, as the greatest moment of my life. I was overwhelmed with emotion because I consider this as a miracle.”"Considering the fact that we had nine points after six matches, winning the league is like a miracle and I want to pay homage to my players, who followed all my instructions and gave their best in every game since I arrived."They have been mentally strong and the victory against SC Kiyovu in stoppage time gave us yet more belief,” stated the Frenchman, who becomes the first coach to guide Rayon to the league title since Raoul Shungu in 2004.He added, "I wish especially to thank the club chairman Mayor Abdallah Murenzi, who is the architect of this success. He is the soul of Rayon Sports and embodies the momentum of the club and the future as well. I am honored to be part of his mission.”Gomez further noted that this year marked the rebirth of Rayon Sport. "Next season will be for reconstruction. We have taken an important step forward in the direction this club wants to be.”"We must not rest because this is just the start of something special that we want to build at Rayon. This would be a great start to the development of the club. He revealed that the club build on what it has been doing in the last seven months, to remain united in humility and work values."I extend my warmest thanks to our fans.
