Bugesera’s failure to gain promotion cost coach Camalade Banamwana his job and his assistant coach Fidele Hakizimana was appointed to replace him. Hakizimana told Times Sport yesterday, "We know it is not going to be easy but we are ready and determined to make it to the final.”"We are still feeling depressed because we didn’t manage to qualify for next season’s Primus national league but this is football, these things happen. We shall try again next year,” he stated. About Sunday’s game, he said, "This is a good chance for us.
Muhanga also have a busy schedule which will make it hard for them to prepare well four the tie.” Both teams have some similarities in their recent performances where Muhanga were beaten mercilessly 6-1 by Rayon Sports and Bugesera lost 1-2 to Gicumbi at their home ground in the second division semifinal second leg. In the other semi-final AS Kigali will take on holders APR on Saturday at Kigali de Kigali, Nyamirambo.
