Dear editor,

Rwanda has come a long way over the last 14 years. As the nation celebrates its liberation day, let it be a reminder for many people about where they have came from and what they are today.

Rwandans should be proud of the fact that a lot in terms of economic, social and political development has been achieved. There is more security and unity due to the reconciliation programs that the government enforced.

These achievements should not be taken for granted but every Rwandan citizen should work together to ensure that what has been established remains intact and not get destroyed.

With unity and a common understanding, a nation like Rwanda can stand and develop. Leaving its past behind and looking ahead at a bright future.
