A delegation of Zambian officers pose for a group photo with their Rwandan counterparts at the Rwanda Military Hospital, yesterday. Six senior officers and doctors from Zambia Defence Forces, led by Brig. Gen. Dr AP Mulela, are in the country for a training in the prepex circumcision techniques.
The delegation started their three-day training on Monday at Rwanda Military Hospital.
Dr Mulela said they are in the country to learn and share experience on how to integrate some programmes, especially the medical male circumcision, into their system. The prepex technique is used for male circumcision.
The device, experimented and implemented in Rwanda three years ago, has proved to be more effective than surgical circumcision. [ Courtesy photo]
