Dear editor,

The education system in Rwanda should go through a dynamic change so as to achieve more evident results. The system of imparting education and life skills in Africa and Rwanda in particular does not produce solid results as hoped.

With more theory being taught than practical methods, it is becoming increasingly difficult for graduands to compete in the job market.

Practical methods of teaching that apply to daily life issues should be implemented. Using practice skill as displayed in various fields of work, makes an economy develop faster.

For example just like in developed countries Technical and Vocational education training (TVET) courses are part of their syllabus and this has given students an equal opportunity in the job market where practical skills are required.

Rwanda can do the same for its students and this will ease their paths when it comes to searching and doing the right career because they will be more productive and efficient.
