Primus Guma Guma SuperStar as it’s commonly known or PGGSS started three years ago and has been on the move ever since. PGGSS is an annual music competition to choose Primus ambassador. The highly anticipated Primus Guma Guma SuperStar Season Three (PGGSS 111) kicks off on May 11.This year’s road show will start on Saturday in Rusizi district, Western Province before all contestants perform in Nyamagabe district next weekend.You can expect different genres of music from techno to dancehall to R&B to Hip-Hop. Besides that, expect some well prepared live performances. 11 artistes that successfully participated in the third edition were recently selected by the public. Contestants are Mico Prosper, Knowless, Fireman, Dany Nanone, Eric Senderi, Kamichi, Urban Boyz, Christopher, Riderman, Bull Dog and Dream Boys.The first and second editions attracted a mammoth crowd in all parts of the country. The road shows that will be held in different districts of the country will be followed by the elimination phases –where each artiste/group will be judged by the public as well as a panel of music experts.  Fans will soon start voting their favourite nominees on the website. So if you want your favourite artiste to walk away with an award on August 10, you must vote. The winner of the competition will walk away with a cash prize of Rwf24 million.
