Renowned Rwandan music video director, Didier Ganza, who is based in the United States of America is putting final touches on the video ‘Animals’ of sensational South African rapper, Hip Hop Pantsula or Double HP (real name, Jabulani Tsambo) featuring The Big 10.

In February, we reported that the 25 year old, who is concluding his cinematography studies in the US, had travelled to Johannesburg, South Africa to work on a project that would see Ganza and his SO Afrika crew direct a number of music videos and documentaries for Double HP.
‘I shot the Video in 3 Countries in less than a week. I was in South Africa, crossed borders to Botswana then travelled to Washington DC shooting this video. There was a whole lot of work put in this project and I’m glad it’s finally out. This is just the beginning and there is hope we’ll be working with lot of big names in the music industry’ Ganza said, in a message to The New Times yesterday.
Ganza heads SO Africa Entertainment, a group of artists, graphic designers, entrepreneurs, cinematographers, rappers and singers based in the USA. He is also the man behind videos like US rapper Hoodwink’s ‘Flawless’ and Apha Rwirangira’s hit, ‘African Swagger’.
Late last month, Cassa Manzi, another Rwandan musician in North America was in Orlando to shoot the music video of his latest track ‘Ndakwikundira’ with the help of Ganza.
Since 2009, Ganza has been based in the US, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Film and Entertainment Business at Full Sail University.
Double HP whose track Mpitse won Best Video at the 2009 MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs) has so far released seven albums, namely; Introduction (2000), Maf Town (2001), O Mang? (2003), YBA 2 NW (2005), Acceptance Speech (2007), Dumela (2009),Motswafrika (2011)
The Platinum-selling artiste has done collabos with K’Naan, Nas and Talib Kweli and shared the stage with top international artistes such as Snoop Dog, Jamie Cullum and Angelique Kidjo.
