So, is it Aids that kills or just the opportunistic diseases?

Tuesday; My neighbour came to watch Champions League but we ended up talking about health. He said his friend, Fitina, died from cancer. I said it was Aids. An argument ensued.Wednesday;Yesterday, the game broke the argument, so today, we resumed it. Neighbour chose to use google and everywhere, it was saying patients don’t die of Aids, but from opportunistic diseases.Thursday;Bayern thumped Barca last night, but I’m not the least bit happy. I’m trying to figure if Neighbour and google were right, that Aids doesn’t kill. Were my primary teachers wrong then? If so, shouldn’t I demand my fees back?Friday;Mama Baby and I have stomach problems from food poisoning. She brought Flagyl tabs and said I take 2X3. I don’t like tabs, so I told her to take it all, and I will get cured as well because we’re married and also, we had shared a plate last night.Saturday; My stomach worsens, so I go to see a real doctor. He nearly slaps me when I narrate the Flagyl thing. He calls me silly, can you imagine?Sunday;Returned for another injection and decided to ask the doctor about the Aids thing. He said what Neighbour and google said was correct. Hmm! He goes on to explain how HIV/Aids weaken immune system.Monday;Wondering if I should stop posturing around as a doctor if I didn’t even know that it isn’t Aids that kills, but the diseases like cancer, malaria, etc.
