Police FC head coach Goran Kopunovic has vowed to work hard towards winning the three remaining matches and let fate decide their destiny as far as winning the league title is concerned.Speaking to Times Sport yesterday, Kopunovic said, "Mathematically it is possible for us to win the title. We are firmly focused on the remaining three matches to see what happens.”"We still have a chance and we must fight until the end,” added Kopunovic.Leaders Rayon Sport with 51 points and Police with 48 points have three matches to play before the season ends.Rayon have tricky ties against Muhanga, Espoir and Musanze while Police will come up against Amagaju, Espoir and AS Kigali after snatching a late 1-0 win over Musanze on Saturday.Police hope to win their next three matches to win their maiden title in 12 years and pray that Rayon somehow falter in those remaining three fixtures.Winning a first silverware for Police Fc is the dream of Kopunovic, who is waiting to see if he gets a new deal when his current one expires at the end of the season. After finishing as runners-up to APR for two consecutive seasons, the Serb is playing catch-up, this time behind rampant Rayon Sport, who remains unbeaten in the league since French coach Didier Gomez da Roza took charge in January. The Serb joined Police two years ago and transformed the team from an average side to a formidable challenger. In his debut season, Kopunovic guided the law enforcers to a third place and a slot in the Peace cup final where they lost to APR 4-2 in extra time.In the 2011/12 season, Kopunovic pushed APR to the limit for the league title before his side folded and also lost the Peace cup final 2-1. Police were also given their first taste of continental football by Kopunovic, although the team didn’t go past the first round.
