Athanase Rutabingwa who has been the president of Kigali Bar Association, was this Saturday re-elected as President of Kigali Bar Association for the next two-year term. He defeated Pierre Célestin Buhuru with 87.04 per cent. Buhuru accepted the results from election and thanked the voters and said they would work together for unity and said it was a sign of democracy.

He defeated Pierre Célestin Buhuru with 87.04 per cent. Buhuru accepted the results from election and thanked the voters and said they would work together for unity and said it was a sign of democracy.
"In the period I have spent in power with my committee, we have worked transparently hand in hand with the government to promote justice in Rwanda and other development work, like paying insurance for workers, giving cows to the poor and even contributed some money to Agaciro development fund,” he narrated.
For the next two years they were going to train workers to get more skills, and help those who are in need.
"As we speak, Rwandan justice is good. That is why you see many criminals being extradited to Rwanda because of good justice. we are going to make a difference in the region and internationally,” he said.
