Dear editor,

Late in the night as you stroll along the Kigali streets, you will notice suspicious groups of men in the dark corners taking drugs.

This is evident by the chocking smell of marijuana that fills the air. This is becoming a common scenario and I do not know what the authorities are doing about it.

This could explain why cases of theft, rape, and other violence’s are being experienced and heard of daily. The cause of all these crimes committed at night need to be uprooted and delt with.

Rwanda needs to reach a point where no one is worried of getting mugged when going somewhere at night. I call upon the authorities in charge to act and rid the streets of any possible criminals especially those who are drunk and taking drugs.

These guys do not have to linger around on the streets but need to be in rehabilitation centers where they can deal with their drug problems.
