Rwanda Football Federation has ruled out the possibility of Amavubi Stars playing an international friendly match against five-time African champions Egypt.Egyptian Football Federation had proposed to play against Rwanda as they prepare to take on Zimbabwe and Mozambique in the FIFA World Cup 2014 Brazil qualifiers."The EFA board has accepted a [request] from the national team to play a friendly against Rwanda on 4 June in Cairo,” the EFA said in a statement last month. However, Ferwafa’s Secretary General Michel Gasingwa said: "It is difficult to prepare a friendly match against Egypt on June 4 when we have another World Cup qualifier against Mali in Bamako five days later.”"We don’t have any plans of playing that friendly match at all,” added Gasingwa. The Pharaohs, who are bidding to reach the World Cup for the first time since 1990, have made a perfect start to their qualification campaign, collecting maximum nine points from three games. They are five points ahead of Guinea and seven clear of third-placed Mozambique with three matches remaining. Egypt next face Zimbabwe and Mozambique in two away games on June 9 and 16 respectively.Amavubi have three more World Cup qualifiers against Mali, Algeria and Benin.
