Christopher Muneza, has released his ninth single dubbed– Birahagije. He follows other Primus Guma Guma SuperStar season three (PGGSS 3) contestants like Knowless and Urban Boys who have released songs. The 19-year-old said he has dedicated the new single to the fans who will be attending the road shows. "I have been doing R&B but this time around I wanted to do something that my fans can dance to when I am performing,” he said.He hopes this will impress the fans who will vote him to emerge the winner of the PGGSS 3. Christopher wrote the lyrics to the songwhile Clemo of the Kina Music produced it. The Birahagije song has a techno beat and will get you dancing or nodding and shaking your head. All the lyrics are in Kinyarwanda. It talks about a man who believes he can treat the love of his life better than her current man."I chose the topic because many people can relate with it. This happens every day,” he explains. Ever since he started singing, Christopher says he has always written and sang songs that his audience can relate to. Like Bye, his first single, which he wrote in tribute to his father. Talks about a person who died and he misses him. He recorded and released his first single in 2009. He says this was after he won a singing competition that was organised by Kina Music. He has gone on to do collaboration with other known artistes like Danny Nanone. Some of his songs include Habona, Uwo munsi, Uwo ninde and Byanze, among others. Muneza said that he is not diverting away from his usual genre because he loves the sound of it, but rather he wants to give his fans something different. He says the fans should expect the video in a month’s time. Muneza is a senior six student at Apace Secondary School. He will be juggling school, rehearsals and filming of the video. Asked how he is going to juggle all that, he said, "A day has 24 hours. So I can always spare some hours for each of the activities.” Come July, he will be battling out for the cash prize of Rwf24 million with ten other artistes –namely Knowless, Fireman, Bull Dog, Eric Senderi, Danny Nanone, Dream Boys, Urban Boys, Mico, Riderman and Kamichi.
