Having already wrapped up the women national football league title, their fourth in a row, AS Kigali humiliated bottom side Rambura 8-1 on Sunday in Rambura, Northern Province.AS Kigali’s goals were scored by Chadia Uwamahirwe (3), Sandrine Niyigena (3), Saida Ntagisanimana (1) and Jeanne Nyirahafashimana(1). In other games, Imirasire lost at home against Esir 0-4, Urumuri were beaten 3-0 by Les Lionnes 0-3, former champions APR beat Kamonyi 1-0, while The Winners overcame Inyemera 1-0.Unbeaten AS Kigali lead the league with 43 points, a whopping 18 points ahead of second-placed Inyemera, who have 25 points, while former winners APR have 24. Rambura is bottom of the table with just three points with seven games remaining.
