I recently traveled to Masaka sector in Kicukiro district, here I found two little boys playing a local guitar (Umuduri) and had a brief talk.

Chaka: little boys can please tell me your names and age?
Ezra:
My name is Ezra Maniraguha, I am 13 years old.
Jérome: My name is Ntuyenabo Jorome, I am 17 years old.

Chaka: Which school do you go to?
Jérome:
  We both go to Rushesha Primary school.

Chaka: What are you holding in your hands? 
Ezra:
It is a guitar (Umuduri)

Chaka: Ezra you look to young to play that guitar can you play for me?
Ezra:
Plays the guitar well...

Chaka: That’s interesting… Jorome can you also play for me?  
Jérome:
Plays… excellently

Chaka: That is very, very good, how long did it take you to learn the guitar?   
Jérome: It took us two weeks.

Chaka: When do you play this guitar?
Ezra:
In public places
Jérome: In parties.

Chaka: Don’t other children admire you?
Ezra:
Yes… they do.

Chaka: Do you have any plans of teaching them how to play the guitar?
Ezra:
Yes we are ready teaching a number of them

Chaka: Good…Jerome tell me, when you grow up what would you like to become?
Jérome:
I would like to be a well know artist.

Chaka: What of Ezra?
Ezra:
I would like to be a great musician.   

Chaka: Very good. Do you have any songs you have composed your selves?
Ezra:
Yes…

Chaka: Like how many?
Ezra:
There are two songs.

Chaka: What of Jerome?
Jérome:
I have composed more than two.

Chaka: Tell me your wishes?
Jérome:
We would wish to get a sponsor who can help us make an album like other artists who sing Kinyarwnda songs.

Chaka: Are you sure you can produce good songs?
Jérome:
Yes I can.

Chaka: Ezra do you agree with Jorome?
Ezra:
Yes we can produce good songs.
