Editor,What President Museveni said at EALA session in Kigali will probably open up other African leaders’ eyes. In addition to that, there is an urgent need within African parliaments to start debating on a bill that will enforce nations (especially those with mineral resources such as iron copper, aluminium) to start making huge national reserves and to open up local industries for transforming these minerals to be purchased by the citizens on a locally affordable market. If these hard minerals are preserved by the government in (tonnes) as part of NGP, no leader can mess with it but the forthcoming generations will always put to purpose through building bridges, train tracks, housing construction, cars etc. Thank you.Clet Kintu Mugabo, New York,United StatesReaction to the story, "Museveni rallies for unified Africa”, (The New Times, April 25)
