EAC One-Stop-Border Posts bill passed
Members of the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), currently sitting in Kigali, late Tuesday, passed the long-awaited One-Stop-Border Posts bill, paving the way for it to become an East African Community (EAC) Law if assented to by the five EAC Heads of State.

Members of the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), currently sitting in Kigali, late Tuesday, passed the long-awaited One-Stop-Border Posts bill, paving the way for it to become an East African Community (EAC) Law if assented to by the five EAC Heads of State.
The bill, initiated by the EAC Council of Ministers, provides the framework for the establishment of One-Stop-Border Posts (OSBP) in the five-nation bloc in order to facilitate trade through free movement of goods and people within the Community.
