National league leaders Rayon Sport will for the first time in 19 years, remember their players, fans and administrators, who were killed in 1994 Genocide against Tutsi.According to the club chairman Abdallah Murenzi, the six-time league winners are currently collecting information from the relatives of those, who were killed in 1994."We are going around asking some people we know for the full information about our players, fans, as well as administrators, who passed away. This year we have to remember them,” he told this paper on Wednesday."We are doing everything possible to make this happen in June. We are planning to have a church service and organise other activities from which we hope to raise money to help their surviving families in case of those that need support,” explained Murenzi.It will be the first time in 19 years since the Genocide against Tutsi that the country’s most supported team commits to remember the victims. Only Mukura Victory Sport has been organising a memorial tournament since 1996 but for the last three years it has not held due to fiscal problems.Some of the Rayon faithfuls killed during the Genocide against the Tutsi include; Raphael Murekezi Alias Fatikaramu, Longin Munyurangabo, Bosco (Mwene Ruterana), Kirangi, Rutabingwa, Misili, Charles Kayombya,  Kibambasi Mugemana, Kassim.Others are; Abbas, Sabiti Ntacyabukura, Ntagugura, Eugène Kayiranga, Bernard Munyabitare, Samuel Ntirugiribambe, Fidèle Mutaganda, Rulinda, Enoki, Benoit Mujejende, Janvier, (Agronome) and Palatin Kabalisa.
