IMPRESSIVE DEFENDER Mbuyu Twite is optimistic his side Young Africans will lift this season’s Tanzania Vodacom Premier League title.
Yanga FC lead the standings with 52 points while their nearest rivals Azam lie in second position at 47 points. Defending champions, Simba lie fourth with 36 points., one behind third-placed Kagera Sugar.
The Jagwani side have five more matches to play while Azam has only four matches to the end of the Vodacom Premier league.
Speaking to Tanzanian media, Mbuyu said, "I think the title is ours to lose. It is very difficult for any team to just outpace us just anyhow. But we must remain confident and ensure that we win all our remaining matches,” said the former APR star.
Young Africans who are aiming for their 23rd title need just two wins to be declared winners, with four games remaining in Tanzania Vodacom Premier League.
