Dear editor,
The crisis in Zimbabwe has reached alarming levels and unless the AU comes in, we shall see the country and its people in deeper problems.

The west threatens to impose more sanctions on the country, but who is going to suffer the consequences. It is the poor people and that is why I call the AU to act immediately.

It would be a great disservice from the two big world bodies (UN and AU), to keep quite when a nation is slowly dying down. The people of Zimbabwe should be saved from the sanctions. Only sanctions that affect leaders would work, but do we have such sanctions?

Otherwise let all Bishops and Pastors pray for Zimbabwe, for God’s help, is needed as the last resort.
