The intriguing inter-schools rugby championship is set to wrap up this weekend. The four-month event that attracted ten schools will have its semi-final action today before winding up with the final scheduled for tomorrow.
Last year’s champions APREDI Ndera will square up with ESSI Nyamirambo, Kabgayi and Remera Rukoma in today’s semi-finals that will be held in Huye.
ESSI Nyamirambo is a late replacement for Green Hills Academy, who pulled out of the semi-finals citing a busy examination schedule.
"Green hills opted out of the semi-finals because of a tight examination schedule so ESSI Nyamirambo who finished third in Kigali’s rugby tournament was called up,” the secretary general of the local rugby governing body Janvier Ugeziwe said.
