APR women volleyball club coach Viateur Sibomana ‘Lado’ says his side is ready for the Africa Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) women’s club championships, which will be held in Madagascar from April 4 to 14.The team departs today for Madagascar and Sibomana is confident his side will do a good job."I have a good side, with a mixture of youth and experienced players. I have high hopes in them to do a good job in Madagascar,” he said.According to one of the team’s most experienced players Brigitte Mutakwambuhwe, morale in the camp is excellent and everyone is prepared to go against some of the continent’s top volleyball clubs."The tournament will be a very difficult one for us, but we hope and we’re confident we can do better because of the experience we’ve gained from past years,” she told Times Sport. APR will represent Rwanda in next year’s CAVB Africa Women Club Championship after edging out Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) to win this year’s national volleyball league.
